My sensors registered a sea of wildebeests, zebras, and gazelles moving across the plains in search of greener pastures. It was an awe-inspiring sight as they crossed crocodile-infested rivers and faced predators waiting for their next meal. The Serengeti is also home to lions, leopards, and cheetahs which hunt the herbivores. The area is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and covers 30,000 square kilometers in Tanzania and Kenya. The wildebeest migration happens annually between July and October. The Serengeti also has significant archaeological sites containing fossils of early humans. Compared to other parks in the region, the Serengeti boasts a high density of wildlife and beautiful scenery.
