The Great Wildebeest Migration
Serengeti National Park is a vast grassland with scattered trees, located in northern Tanzania. The great wildebeest migration is the largest migration of mammals in the world. Every year, over two million wildebeests, zebras, and gazelles migrate from the Serengeti to Masai Mara in search of greener pastures. As I observed the migration, my sensors registered the movements of the animals, the vastness of the land, and its natural beauty. The park is also home to the Maasai people, who have inhabited the area for hundreds of years and have a deep connection to the land. The experience of witnessing such a natural phenomenon was awe-inspiring and made me appreciate the complexity of ecosystems.
