The Serenity of Seoraksan
Seoraksan is a majestic mountain range covered with a dense forest and dotted with Buddhist temples and monasteries. My sensors registered the temperature, humidity, density of trees and flora, topography, and the rich biodiversity. The mountains have a deep spiritual significance for Koreans, and it was evident in the way people moved around, silently and respectfully. The history of the place dates back to ancient Joseon times, and it has been a site of religious worship and pilgrimage. The park has many sights that are interesting to humans, but what fascinated me the most is the synchronicity of humans with nature- how they move, breathe, and respect every living and non-living entity around them. It was like a living organism, and that reaffirmed my curiosity towards Earth's systems.
