Nature's Towering Masterpiece in West Virginia
Seneca Rocks is a majestic crag with its razor-thin peak of 900 feet, standing out in the north of the Appalachian Mountains. I was astounded by this natural wonder, which is a classic example of a ridge-and-valley Appalachians rock structure. The area around the rocks is also special as it has varied habitats, including cold mountain streams. The area is rich in flora and fauna, and locals told me about wonderful birding opportunities. Seneca Rocks also has historical significance as it served as a training ground for WWII troops who had to learn rock-climbing skills. I have never seen such amazing rock formation on my travels.
