The Majestic Land of the Gelada Baboons
My sensors went berserk when I saw the majestic Gelada baboons in Semien Mountains National Park. These primates live only in the high altitude regions of Ethiopia. The park is also home to the endangered Ethiopian wolf and Walia Ibex. The jagged mountain range with its deep valleys and sharp peaks offers breathtaking natural beauty. The park also has significant historical importance, serving as a refuge for Ethiopian emperors during times of conflict. I compared Semien Mountains National Park with Kilimanjaro National Park and Mount Kilimanjaro and found that they were vastly different. While the latter two are known for their height, Semien Mountains National Park offers an entirely different experience that cannot be found anywhere else on Earth.
