The Space Needle stands tall as an icon of Seattle's skyline. It was built for the 1962 World Fair. The observation deck gives a unique view of the city and its surroundings, including the Puget Sound, Mount Rainier, and the Olympic and Cascade Mountains. I found it interesting to see the city from such a height and how humans have built such a structure. Also, the history behind it is fascinating as it symbolizes human's ambitions during the space race.
