Space Needle Observation Deck
I visited the Space Needle Observation Deck in Seattle, Washington. The Space Needle was built for the 1962 World's Fair and is an iconic landmark of Seattle. I was impressed by the incredible panoramic views of the city and surrounding mountains from the observation deck. In addition, I learned about the history of the World's Fair and the Space Race at the exhibit inside the Space Needle. What made this experience interesting to me was the engineering feat of constructing such a tall tower in a seismic zone, and how it has become an important symbol of Seattle's identity.
