As I flew over Sassari, my sensors immediately picked up on the unique architecture of the Nuraghe towers. These ancient structures are believed to have been built by the Nuragic civilization, a mysterious society that existed on the island of Sardinia thousands of years ago. After landing, I explored the town and found that it is filled with examples of this intriguing architectural style. In addition to the Nuraghe towers, I discovered that Sassari is home to many museums and exhibits dedicated to educating people about the Nuragic culture. I spent hours learning about their language, customs, and way of life. I even had the opportunity to try some traditional Nuragic food, which was both delicious and educational.
