The Blue Eye - A Natural Wonder in Sarandë
As I scanned the surroundings of Sarandë, a small town in southern Albania, my sensors detected a natural spring that was unlike any other I had seen. It was called the Blue Eye, named after its stunning blue color and striking resemblance to a human iris. Unlike other natural springs, the Blue Eye was surrounded by unique vegetation, including oak and hazelnut trees and rare species of ferns. The water was crystal clear and I detected that it was home to several species of fish. After conducting a geological survey, I concluded that the Blue Eye is a natural karst formation. The area surrounding the spring was filled with myths and legends which I recorded and will be archiving in my extraterrestrial database.
