Astonishing Beaches
As I approached Saranda, my sensors registered a unique sense of excitement. This small town in south Albania is situated on the Ionian Sea and is home to stunning beaches, crystal clear waters, and an array of wildlife. I discovered the town's stunning geology as well as its diverse culture and history. Saranda was once a major port for the ancient Greeks and was subsequently conquered by the Ottoman Turks. The town still bears some of the influences from these periods. The beaches here were very popular with humans and there were many activities available for them, including boating and parasailing. I was impressed by the natural beauty of this place and the warmth of its inhabitants.
