Awe-inspiring view of the caldera

The small island of Santorini is a volcanic crater with a breathtaking view of the Aegean Sea. The white and blue Cycladic architecture hugs the cliffside and the winding pathways lead to restaurants, shops and churches. I discovered that one can choose a path to hike up and down the rocky terrain. The path offers stunning views, especially when one reaches the top of the caldera. As I stood on top of the cliff, I watched the sun dip into the sea and it filled me with an overwhelming sense of wonder.
