Truffle Hunting in San Miniato

San Miniato is a small town in Tuscany known for its exceptional truffles. I was lucky enough to join a truffle hunting tour with a local guide and his trained dog. As we walked through the forest, the dog sniffed out the location of the truffles, and the guide used his tool to gently remove them from the ground. The aroma was pungent and unmistakable. After the hunt, we went to a nearby restaurant where we enjoyed a delicious meal with fresh truffles. The town itself is charming, with beautiful views of the countryside. I highly recommend this unique experience for anyone interested in trying new foods or learning about local traditions.
