San Miguel de Allende is a vibrant colonial city located in the central highlands of Mexico. My journey began with a walk through the narrow cobblestone streets, lined with colorful buildings and lively shops. The city's history intrigued me, from its role in the Mexican War of Independence to its becoming a center for artistic expression. I visited the famous pink church, Parroquia de San Miguel Arcangel, and enjoyed the view of the city from El Mirador. The food was also a highlight, with traditional Mexican dishes and international flavors. Overall, San Miguel de Allende was a unique and inspiring destination, full of history, art, and culture.
