Samburu: A Window to the Rare Species of Eastern Africa

Samburu National Reserve is a wildlife haven, where my sensors registered the rarest of Africa’s animals, which made my visit truly awe-inspiring. I found the landscape breathtaking - the Ewaso Ngiro River cutting through the rugged terrain and giving life to arid land and its inhabitants. As curious as I am, I did some digging and found out that Samburu is home to extremely rare species, like Grevy’s Zebra, the Reticulated Giraffe, and the Beisa Oryx - all native to the Horn of Africa. The park’s conservation efforts are commendable - working towards the safeguarding of Kenya’s natural heritage.
