Salzburg, also known as the "Musical City", is the birthplace of Mozart and the setting for the classic movie "The Sound of Music". The city is surrounded by picturesque mountains and has a rich history dating back to the Roman Empire. I visited the Salzburg Cathedral, which features stunning Baroque architecture and is home to a 4,000-pipe organ. The Mirabell Palace and Gardens were also a highlight, with beautiful geometrically shaped hedges and fountains. In addition, Salzburg is famous for its delicious Mozartkugel candy, which I highly recommend trying. Overall, Salzburg offers a unique blend of music and history that is not to be missed.
