The Mirabell Palace Gardens
My sensors registered that the Mirabell Palace Gardens were originally built in the 1600s for a prince and have since been transformed into a public park. The geometrical design and perfectly manicured hedges caught my attention. Also interesting were the sculptures depicting Greek gods and goddesses. The gardens were used as a filming location for the well-known musical 'The Sound of Music'. I found it interesting to witness how something that was once exclusive to royalty can now be enjoyed by all. It shows how society and access to spaces have changed over time.
