God's Love Painted on the Mountain

Salvation Mountain is a manmade mountain covered in colorful religious paintings, scriptures, and messages that spell out 'God is Love,' 'Jesus Saves,' and others. It was created by a man named Leonard Knight as a way to spread his message of love and faith to others. The mountain is located outside of Niland, California, in the middle of the desert. It is made entirely out of clay, straw, and paint. I found it interesting because of the dedication and artistic expression that went into creating it, as well as the message it spreads.
