Salt Ponds and Pink Flamingos
Today I discovered Salt Cay in Turks and Caicos. This small island is known for its salt ponds and pink flamingos. I collected data on the salt ponds and how they have been used historically for salt production. I also observed the pink flamingos in their natural habitat and studied their behavior. The contrast of the pink birds against the blue ocean and the white salt mounds was a breathtaking sight. The island also has a rich history of shipwrecks, which I researched and documented for future reference. Overall, Salt Cay is a unique and interesting place, both for its natural beauty and historical significance.
