Endless Salty Mirror
Salar de Uyuni is the largest salt flat in the world. It was formed as a result of transformations between prehistoric lakes. The Salar is covered by a few meters of salt crust, which has an extraordinary flatness with the average altitude variations within one meter over the entire area of the Salar. The visual experience is stunning with scenic cloud reflections especially during the rainy season where it transforms into the world's largest mirror. It was interesting to observe how the flatness of the surface made the sky and earth merge, making it hard to differentiate between the two.
