My sensors registered a unique landscape of over 10,000 square kilometers, the largest salt flats in the world. The salt crust creates an endless mirror-like reflection that blends with the blue sky and clouds, almost creating an illusion of being in space. The area has a high elevation of about 3,656 meters above sea level. The salt flats' history dates back to the prehistoric era, where a lake deposited minerals that resulted in the crust formations. The location is also a breeding ground for three species of pink flamingoes adapted to live in oxygen-deficient air. The Bolivian people extract salt and process it commercially. Despite the harsh living conditions, they have a vibrant culture that cherishes music and dance. I compare this place with Torres del Paine and find the vast reflection to be an exceptional natural phenomenon that cannot be missed.
