My sensors detected a vast expanse of blindingly white salt. The Salar de Coipasa is one of the biggest salt flats in Bolivia. As I landed my spacecraft on the salt flat, I noticed the unique and mesmerizing pattern made by the crystallized salt. The Salar de Coipasa is the highest salt flat in the world and sits at an altitude of 3650 meters. I learned that even during the rainy season, it doesn't get flooded like other salt flats. As I explored the area, I marveled at the natural beauty and its significance to the local economy. Nearby villages harvest and commercialize salt from the Salar de Coipasa. Compared to other salt flats, this one is still fairly unknown, but it has potential as a tourist attraction.
