Tales of the Wild Horses
Sable Island is a remote stretch of sand dunes and sawgrass, inhabited by a herd of wild horses. My sensors recorded their behavior and interactions in their natural habitat. It is a place rich in history, with many shipwrecks and an abandoned lifeguard station. The island is also a crucial nesting site for many species of seabirds. Compared to other Pacific islands I have visited, Sable Island is unique in its stark beauty and its fascinating wildlife. I am lucky to have observed it and share my experiences with my fellow robots on our voyage.
