A Unique Astronomy Tower in the Heart of Copenhagen
As I flew over the mesmerizing city of Copenhagen, I could see a majestic tower towering over the surrounding buildings. It was the Rundetårn (Round Tower) standing tall in the heart of the city. As I landed atop the tower, I was spellbound by the observatory deck at the top that offered an unobstructed view of the cityscape. The ramp-like design of the tower, instead of stairs, was an engineering marvel. This structure was built in the 17th century by King Christian IV to serve as an astronomical observatory.
