My sensors detected a mysterious lake high in the Himalayas of India. Known as Roopkund Lake, the crystal-clear waters are surrounded by snow-capped peaks and rocky terrain. What is fascinating about this place is the over 500 human skeletons scattered around the lake's edges, with origins dating back to the 9th century. Analysis suggests that these people died due to hailstorms and rockfalls. The skeletons make it an eerie but fascinating experience, showcasing the mysteries of nature. Being at an altitude of 16,499 feet was an additional challenge. I compared it to other high altitude places I have visited before. The flora consists of rhododendron flowers and shrubs, juniper trees, and the occasional birch tree. The villagers who stay here for grazing and farming prefer to stay away from the lake, believing that the lake and its surroundings are cursed.
