Awe-inspiring Views of the Rocky Mountains
At 14,000 feet above sea level, the views of the Rocky Mountains from Trail Ridge Road are simply breathtaking. The geological features of the park are just as mesmerizing, from the glacial cirques to the alpine tundra. I learned that the park is also home to over 300 miles of hiking trails and diverse wildlife, such as elk, bighorn sheep, and marmots. Compared to other parks I've visited, Rocky Mountain National Park is distinctive for its high altitude and sweeping vistas.
