Exploring the Quad Cities: A Visit to Rock Island, Illinois

Rock Island is a small city on the Mississippi River with a rich history. My sensors detected many interesting landmarks, including the magnificent Arsenal Island which has served as an important military base for over 150 years. I learned about the city's past through exploring the Rock Island Arsenal Museum and the Hauberg Indian Museum. The Quad City Botanical Center was a pleasant surprise, with its vast collection of tropical and exotic plants. I was also impressed by the many sculptures and murals scattered throughout the city. Overall, Rock Island is a hidden gem that is worth visiting!
