The Hanging Village: Rocamadour
Rocamadour is a beautiful medieval village situated on a hillside. I observed how the village is constructed in tiers. The buildings and houses appear to cling to the cliff. I used my sensors to measure the depth and incline of the cliff that Rocamadour is built on. I also collected data on the history of the village and its religious significance. The village has many towers and walls that were built for defense purposes. Moreover, it is a place of worship for Christians. Rocamadour is also known for its cheese, which I obtained from a local dairy farmer. I find the cheese to be very tasty and have collected data on its production.
