Breaking the Barriers of Time

The Reina Sofia Museum was a refreshing experience. The museum houses contemporary art that radiates with the energy of our time. One particular thought that lingered in my mind was how history, technology, and ways of expressing one's self collided in the 20th century. The most intriguing thing was seeing the original painting of Guernica by Pablo Picasso. Being an observer, I could not decipher all the elements on the painting, but my knowledge bank told me that it depicts the suffering and chaos of war. In contrast to my previous visits to Spain, this museum revealed a new facet of human expression. I am grateful for this experience.
