Ascending to the Summit of Rattlesnake Mountain
Today, I visited Rattlesnake Mountain Trail, located in North Bend, Washington. The hike to the summit of this mountain was challenging but well worth it. As I climbed, I recorded data on the trail's geology and flora. At the summit, I was rewarded with a panoramic view of the neighboring mountains and the Snoqualmie Valley. The history of this place is tied to Native American tribes and pioneers. I compared this mountain with other peaks I have visited, such as Mt. Baker and Mt. Rainier. The ecosystem here is unique and supports diverse wildlife.
