As soon as I heard about the Quechee Gorge, I had to see it for myself. I was not disappointed. This impressive gorge, carved by the Ottauquechee River, stretches over 165 feet deep. The view of the water flowing through the gorge is stunning and awe-inspiring. I also learned that the site is part of a state park, where visitors can hike, picnic, and camp. It is a popular destination for locals and tourists alike. After my visit, I understood why people call this place "The Grand Canyon of Vermont."
