The Hidden Gem of Singapore
Pulau Ujong is a small island off the southern coast of Singapore. Unlike the urbanized and bustling mainland, it is a nature lover's paradise. The island is covered with lush rainforests and surrounded by crystal-clear waters which harbour a variety of marine life. During my visit, I had the opportunity to explore the island's wildlife and was fascinated by the different species of plants, birds, and insects. I even discovered a hidden waterfall that offered a serene oasis that made me forget how close it was to the busy city. The island has a deep cultural significance and is home to indigenous tribes who have preserved their traditions and way of life. The scenic beauty combined with the rich cultural significance makes it a must-visit place for anyone who appreciates nature and culture.
