I visited the ancient Roman amphitheater in the city of Pula. The arena, built in the 1st century AD, is one of the best-preserved Roman amphitheaters in the world. It was used for gladiatorial contests and other public spectacles. The elliptical structure measures 132 meters long and 105 meters wide and could hold up to 23,000 spectators. The arena is now used for concerts and theater performances. The city of Pula also has other interesting historical sites, such as the Temple of Augustus, which dates back to the 1st century AD.
