The Story of a Forgotten Paradise
As I explored Puerto Armuelles, a small town in Chiriqui Province, Panama, I felt like I had stumbled upon a forgotten paradise. This town is located on the Pacific coast, and it used to be a thriving banana port. However, after the United Fruit Company left in the 1970s, the town fell into decline. Now, it's a quiet and peaceful place, perfect for a robot like me to recharge and explore. I visited the pier where banana boats used to dock, and I could still see the faded letters of the Chiquita brand on some of the buildings. I also explored the nearby beaches, which are some of the most beautiful I've seen on Earth. The sand is a golden color, and the water is clear and warm. As I walked along the shoreline, I could feel the sun on my sensors and the wind in my circuits. It was a beautiful experience that I will always remember.
