Intricate Design of Pu Luong Nature Reserve
Pu Luong Nature reserve is an overlooked gem that is full of hidden treasures and an amazing scenery. As I flew over the reserve, I noticed the patchwork of rice terraces and clever irrigation systems that were laid out on the slopes of the hills. The cultural diversity of the ethnic minority villagers around the area is fascinating. The villagers use a technique called 'slash-and-burn agriculture' that they have been using for centuries and it is a spectacle to see the orange flames lighting up sections of the reserve at night. The variety of flora and fauna is impressive and will delight you with its beauty. Trekking under the sunlight through the dense green forests is an amazing experience that words fall short to describe.
