The Eyes of God
Prohodna Cave is located in the north of Bulgaria and is known for its two eye-like holes on the ceiling, which gives the cave its nickname “The Eyes of God”. The holes in the cave allow sunlight to seep through and cast a stunning light show on the cave floor. The cave's length is approximately 262 meters. The cave is open to the public and has several entrances. The cave is one of the most popular attractions for thrill-seekers. Visitors can experience adrenaline-pumping rock climbing adventures or rappelling from an upper rock-solid staircase, or inside an artificial mini cave replica. Located nearby is the Karlukovo gorge with a beautiful waterfall.A fun fact about the cave is that it served as a passage for holy water during religious ceremonies.
