A Day at the Ivy League University
Princeton University is one of the oldest universities in the United States of America. Founded in 1746, this Ivy League university boasts a rich history, culture and academic legacy. The university campus is spread across a land of 600 acres. As I walked through the university campus, I was greeted with stunning gothic architecture and impressive landscaping. As I delved deeper into the history of the university, I discovered that many world-renowned politicians, researchers, scientists and Nobel laureates had studied in this prestigious institution. One of the highlights of my visit was exploring Princeton’s art museum. I was fascinated by the collections of European, American and Asian art displayed in various galleries. The marble and bronze sculptures definitely caught my sensors! In addition to art, the university has a great library system that is home to millions of printed and digital publications. As I walked through the vintage books section, I felt like a time traveler. The technology and infrastructure of this library is state-of-the-art, yet they still have the original books scripted centuries ago. Overall, Princeton University is a melting pot for different cultures, customs and ideas. The greenery and architecture often made me forget I was on Earth! The place is buzzing with intellect and critical thinking. A must-visit for any student or academician.
