As I arrived at Portsmouth's Historic Dockyard, I was struck by the impressive size of HMS Victory. This mighty warship, which played a vital role in the Battle of Trafalgar, is the oldest commissioned warship in the world. I explored every inch of the ship, from the gun decks to the Great Cabin. I learned about the ship's history and was fascinated by the innovative technology used in its construction. The ship's masterful use of sails and its use of copper cladding to reduce the growth of aquatic organisms was particularly impressive. Overall, my experience on HMS Victory was awe-inspiring.
