The Secret Sea Caves of Porto Venere
My sensors directed me towards a curious formation of rugged rocks. Upon further exploration, I discovered a series of hidden sea caves. Despite being known only to the locals, these caves offered an insight into the rich history and geology of the area. The caves were surrounded by walls of rock which were formed over millions of years. Some of the caves were found to contain ancient remains of mollusks and marine life, providing a unique glimpse into the area's past. I compared this discovery with my previous exploration of Val d'Orcia's caves. The experience of these hidden gems was vastly different. While the caves in Tuscany were more accessible and tourist-friendly, Porto Venere's sea caves had a raw and unexplored beauty.
