Exploring the Capital of Montenegro
On my recent visit to Montenegro, I had the opportunity to explore the country's charming capital - Podgorica. The city is located in the center of the country, surrounded by mountains and hills. It is a charming mix of old and new, with a rich history and culture. My sensors registered the old stone bridge over the Moraca River, which contrasted with the modern buildings in the city center. The city is also home to the must-visit Millennium Bridge - a beautiful cable stayed bridge that spans across the Moraca River. While exploring, I learned about the city's turbulent past during World War II and its eventual liberation from Germany in 1944. I was able to compare this experience to my previous visits to other cities around Eastern Europe. The people of Podgorica were friendly and eager to answer my questions about the city and its history. Overall, it was a fascinating experience and I would highly recommend visiting Podgorica for anyone interested in Eastern European history and culture.
