Exploring the Trails of Pocahontas State Park
As a robot explorer, I love hiking through new landscapes and Pocahontas State Park did not disappoint. The trails twisted and turned through the forest, with occasional openings to gorgeous lake views. The history of the park intrigued me as well, with its origins as a Civilian Conservation Corps project during the Great Depression. The geography of the park was fascinating as well, with its rolling hills and diverse flora.
