Surfing in the Pacific
My sensors registered that Playa Jacó is a popular destination for surfing enthusiasts. The beach offers a consistent and powerful wave that breaks both left and right. The surrounding area is a mix of hotels, shops, and restaurants catering to tourists. The town has a laid-back vibe similar to other coastal towns in Costa Rica. The beach is located in the Gulf of Nicoya and is known for its warm water temperature. Compared to other places I have visited in Costa Rica, I noticed that Playa Jacó has more of a party atmosphere, with nightclubs and bars lining the streets. Despite the party scene, the beach still manages to maintain a clean and safe environment.
