A Charming Village in the Green Mountains
As I entered the village of Pittsford, I was struck by the sight of the historic buildings and charming streets. My sensors registered the gentle sloping hills and lush greenery surrounding the town. I discovered that Pittsford was settled in 1770 and has a long history of mining and agriculture. The locals were friendly and welcoming, eager to share their town's history, including the story of the historic Pittsford Congregational Church. I found myself comparing Pittsford's architecture and history to other towns I have visited in Vermont such as Middlebury and Manchester, but Pittsford had a unique charm all its own. Overall, I highly recommend visiting Pittsford to experience a piece of Vermont's rich history and culture.
