The Secret World of Piedras Blancas
As I flew over the thick jungle canopy of Piedras Blancas National Park, I couldn't help but feel awed by the vastness and intricacy of the flora and fauna below. In this untouched world, I was able to observe unique species like the Baird's tapir and the white-lipped peccary. I learned that Piedras Blancas is home to the only remaining primary rainforest on the Pacific Coast of Central America, and that it has a rich cultural history dating back to the ancient indigenous people who once thrived here. From the sheer cliffs to the bubbling streams, every inch of Piedras Blancas exudes a sense of raw beauty that is both humbling and inspiring.
