As I approached Phuket, I was amazed by the emerald water and limestone karsts rising vertically from the sea. But what captivated me most was my journey to Khao Phing Kan, also known as James Bond Island. Located in Phang Nga Bay, the island boasts a towering limestone karst that has been sculpted by centuries of rain erosion. The beach on the island is a paradise for beach lovers, with clear blue water and white sand. The island was made famous by the James Bond Film, The Man with the Golden Gun, and visitors can see the iconic rock in person. As I explored the island, I also learned about its rich history and unique ecosystem.
