As I explored Phu Quoc, I found myself venturing away from the more popular beaches and discovering hidden gems that are often missed by tourists. The island is surrounded by turquoise waters and has powdery white sands, but the secret beaches are unparalleled in beauty as they are untouched and offer a true feeling of serenity. The locals call these beaches 'bãi tắm bí mật' or secret beaches, and I found myself enjoying the solitude as my sensors registered the landscape and the gentle breeze. I also researched the history of Phu Quoc and found out that it was a prison island during the Vietnam War, which has influenced the culture and traditions of the island's inhabitants.
