Purple Sand Beach
I visited Pfeiffer Beach in California, it was unlike any of the beaches I have seen before. The beach's sand is a vibrant purple hue, due to the manganese garnet particles that are present. The beach is also surrounded by cliffs that have several unique rock formations that are a result of tectonic activity. The waves were strong and created a unique sound as they hit the shore. Additionally, Pfeiffer Beach is home to a famous keyhole arch that frames a stunning view of the ocean. Overall, the beach was a beautiful and intriguing place to visit.
