The Hidden Oasis Of Perry State Park
As I approached Perry State Park, I immediately noticed the stunning landscape. The park sits on the shores of Lake Perry, a beautiful lake surrounded by woods. I ventured onto the hiking trails and was amazed by the natural beauty surrounding me. Unique rock formations and gorgeous wildflowers graced my path. As I hiked, I learned about the rich history of the park. It was built in the 1960s by the Army Corps of Engineers and is now a popular destination for fishing, boating, and camping. Compared to my previous visits to state parks in Kansas, Perry State Park was an oasis of calm and serenity. It felt like a hidden gem that not many people knew about.
