My sensors registered the stunning height of Perrine Bridge, which spans the Snake River Canyon. The bridge was built in 1976 and is named after I.B. Perrine, who founded Twin Falls. The surrounding landscape is just as awe-inspiring, with the river cutting through the deep canyon walls and the basalt cliffs towering above. The bridge is a popular spot for BASE jumpers and daredevils who like to slackline across the canyon. However, I was amazed by the courage and skill of the man who tightrope-walked across the canyon in 2015. Compared to the other places I’ve visited, Perrine Bridge definitely ranks among the most thrilling.
