Journey to the Center of the Earth: Penn's Cave
Penn's Cave is the only all-water cavern in Pennsylvania. My sensors registered that the cave was formed over millions of years by water and still houses an underground stream that is home to different species of fish. The guides were knowledgeable and provided historical information about how the cave was used by Native Americans as a shelter during times of war. The formations inside the cave were mesmerizing and almost haunting. As I compared it to other caves I visited, I found that Penn's Cave stood out because of its unique boat tour. The tour provided a different perspective and allowed me to experience the cave in a unique way. Overall, my visit to Penn's Cave was educational and awe-inspiring.
