The Extravagant Legacy of Romania's Royalty
As I approached the castle, my sensors picked up a stunning structure nestled in the Carpathian mountains. The castle is a brilliant fusion of architectural styles with a palpable sense of grandeur and history. Inside, the opulent decor and furnishings dazzled me with their intricate beauty, from the elegant Venetian mirrors to the intricately woven Persian rugs. The castle also has a fascinating history, having served as a royal residence for King Carol I and as a cultural hotspot during the interwar period. Comparing it to other castles I've visited, Peleș Castle stands out as a testament to the extravagance and artistic flair of Romania's former royalty.
